HUNTINGTON PARK, Los Angeles County — October 25, 2026. Anyone attending a Huntington Park City Council meeting should verify the location before leaving home: the city’s official Agendas and Minutes page currently carries an alert that Council meetings are taking place at Raul Perez Park and that City Hall services are being provided from modular buildings accessible via Zoe Avenue in the City Hall parking lot.

Why an old City Hall address may be misleading

The municipality lists its normal administrative address as 6550 Miles Avenue, Huntington Park, CA 90255, but its current website alert specifically directs meeting attendees to Raul Perez Park. The two locations should not be assumed interchangeable. Check the meeting-specific posted agenda and any latest municipal notice for the room, entrance and public-comment arrangements; the announcement does not give a reliable date when the usual facilities will reopen.

City Council agendas are available in Spanish

The city’s public records index includes sections labeled City Council Agendas, City Council Agendas (SPANISH), City Council Agenda Material, and City Council Minutes. The city says regular meeting agendas are made available at least 72 hours before meetings, either in the City Clerk’s office or online. Residents who prefer Spanish can consult the posted language-specific agenda, then refer to the approved minutes and formal ordinances to establish final actions.

How to avoid confusing an agenda with a decision

A staff report, public hearing notice or proposed ordinance may explain what the Council is considering. It does not show that the measure passed or took effect. The city says meeting minutes are approved at a subsequent regularly scheduled Council meeting and posted afterward. For a disputed issue, compare the dated agenda packet, the vote record and the approved minutes.

Other municipal committees publish documents

Huntington Park also indexes records for its Planning Commission, Economic Development Committee, Health and Education Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Youth Commission and other bodies. Residents tracking development, programs for youth or public spending can locate documents by the relevant board instead of searching only the City Council portal.

Contact the city

The municipality lists (323) 582-6161 for general assistance. Its posted City Hall administrative hours are Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Friday closed. For specific questions about the temporary facilities and accessibility, the site’s notice refers residents to info@hpca.gov. Meeting times may fall outside regular office hours.

Huntington Park News will continue to direct residents to the latest municipal notices, accurately distinguishing planned actions from completed votes.
